FCF Titanias Vanity is the first foal bred by Faerie Court Farm.  She has the balanced sport horse conformation, exceptional movement, intelligence, and beauty that we strive to produce.  Her full sister, FCF Silver Stardust, was born in '06 and demonstrates that sometimes lightning can strike the same place twice!  Both mares have been retained for our breeding program.



Titania was bred in 2008 and 2009 to Faerie Court Farm's stallion, AAA Legend ofthe Seas.  Titania is an extraordinary example of the elegant athleticism that is seen in the best of the *Silver Vanity/Oran and *Rissalix bloodline crosses.  Breeding Titania to Legend represents the proven nick of Indraff/*Raffles lines with the *Silver Vanity and *Rissalix lines. We are incredibly excited about the quality of the two foals that were produced from this cross-- the 2009 colt, FCF Enchanted Flame, and the 2010 colt, FCF King oftheFairys.   Both have been retained to assess in a few years to determine which one will be selected to carry on his sire's legacy in the breeding program.

 After she weaned her colt in early summer of 2011, we refreshed Titania's training and conditioning to show her in-hand at USDF Breed Shows with the other five horses in our 2011 show string.
  One of the shows we'd planned to attend was cancelled due to Hurricane Irene, so Titania 's only show of the season was Dressage at Devon.  

	Dressage at Devon 2011 Titania earned a 7th place ribbon in the Arabian Individual Breed Class and her two sons, FCF Enchanted Flame and FCF King ofthe Fairys represented her in the Produce of Dam class where they earned a 10th place ribbon against offspring of broodmares from some of the top Warmblood farms in the US!

Titania has a great work ethic and is enjoying the training. (She is especially enthusiastic about ground poles!)  She will be started under saddle in the autumn of 2011 to be ridden for a few years before producing more foals for Faerie Court Farm.  Trainability and performance achievement are keystones of the Faerie Court Farm breeding program so training and riding our mares whenever possible is desirable.

Titania is maturing into an exquisite young mare. As a two year old, she was shown in-hand at the 2007 Arabian Sport Horse Nationals in Lexington, VA and placed 11th in the 2 year old Arabian filly Sport Horse In-Hand class--just 0.15 points out of the top ten.  We were pleased that she did so well at her very first show, paticularly since this was a national show and she was showing against fillies with much more show experience!
