FCF King ofthe Fairys is growing into an elegant youngster with lots of sociability.  He has been retained as a stallion prospect.

In the summer of 2011, King had some training to prepare him for showing in hand at USDF Breed Shows.  Normally, I do not like to show yearlings, but this colt thrives on  new experiences and is eager to learn new things.  Still, we were mindful of King's age so we opted to have Thom act as his handler so that King would have a deep bond of trust to fall back on in the stimulating atmosphere of the show grounds.  King was unable to go to his first scheduled show due to a minor pasture injury.  So his show debut was at Dressage at Devon.  


King handled his show ring debut at Dressage at Devon with his characteristic easy-going demeanor.  He seemed to think the purpose of the show was to charm every person that he met.  He received many compliments on his extraordianry temperament and sparkling presence!

	Dressage at Devon King earned two ribbons at Devon--tenth place in the Produce of Dam class (with his brother FCF Enchanted Flame representing their dam, FCF Titanias Vanity -showing against foals out of top Warmblood mares) and 6th place in the Arabian Individual Breed Class.  He also earned a good score (71.35%) with his paternal siblings FCF As You Wish and FCF Enchanted Flame in the Get of Sire class where the judge singled out King for the excellent quality of his walk  -- both Wish and Flame earned very good walk scores at the show so this was a significant compliment.

	King suffered a soft tissue injury to one hind foot when he was less than one day old so he required a bit of TLC
