The fine purebred Arabian sport horse, AAA Legend ofthe Seas, was bred by Angel Portice of Arc Angel Arabians.   Even as a young foal he possessed wonderful presence and natural carriage.   Some pictures of Legend as a youngster demonstrate the potential that led us to believe he was a stallion prospect.  In 2003 when he was just 9 months old, Legend was acquired for the Faerie Court Farm breeding program based on his wonderful conformation, laid-back temperament, splendid movement, the consistent quality of his sire's offspring, a fantastic dam, and a deep pedigree that explained these qualities.

Over the past few years, the promising colt has developed into an extraordinary horse with the work ethic, athletic ability, and striking presence of a top performance sport horse.  The consistency of the natural carriage, athleticism, presence, temperament, and athletic balance in the three high quality fillies and three colts from his three foal crops proved that Legend was an excellent sire for the fine mares we carefully selected for him here at Faerie Court Farm Arabians.

Get of Sire Class
FCF As You Wish, FCF Enchanted Flame, and FCF King ofthe Fairys 71.45%

Additionally, Legend's daughter Wish placed 9th in the 3 year old filly class, his sons Flame and King earned 10th place in the Produce of Dam class, while in the Arabian IBC Wish took 1st place (74.1%), Flame took 2nd (73%), and King earned 6th (69.4%)
so Legend's get acquitted themselves well!

Although Legend's offspring have all exceeded our expectations, Legend's persistent subfertility led us to the decision to geld him in the late fall of 2009.  Faerie Court Farm has retained four of his six offspring including the 2010 and 2009 colts, FCF King ofthe Fairys and FCF Enchanted Flame, and the 2008 fillies FCF PrincessButtercup and FCF As You Wish.   Legend's foals have all inherited his remarkable temperament, superb structural balance, purity of gait, strong hindquarters with an excellent loin, natural engagement and carriage for the sport disciplines, sparkling presence, and other fine qualities so we are confident that Legend's genetic influence will remain a core of the Faerie Court Farm breeding program.

On July 18th, 2008, in the middle of a thunderstorm, BruMarba Callisto delivered a classicly beautiful and correct chestnut filly. Like the other two fillies of  Legend's first foal crop, this one has the structure, movement, and temperament to be a fantastic equine athlete.

As a youngster Legend was an inquisitive horse who took everything in stride.  He always had impeccable manners and was an absolute pleasure to handle.  Until he was a two year old, he shared his pasture and run-in shed with  a very sweet Donkey named Dandy

For two winters he also had the companionship of a mature pregnant mare who taught him to have good manners around mares.
